Sicily is one of the regions richest in free hot springs, thanks to the volcanic activity of the island and its archipelagos. Pantelleria in particular is a true free thermal paradise: a volcanic lake with natural mud, hot pools by the sea, caves with water at 40 °C and even a natural sauna carved into the rock.
